Fran Suilmann Orchestra Recorded Live at the Oaks

The Fran Suilmann Orchestra performed regularly at the Oaks on Saturday nights from 1967 to 1977. They made several reel to reel recordings during live performances on the Oaks stage during those years. These are two of those recordings. Courtesy of Annabelle Suillmann, wife of Lloyd Suillmann. Lloyd and his brother Fran founded the band in 1949.

The residents interviewed were also featured in the "Old Wise Tales" book. This is the original video. The music under the titles has been replaced due to copyright.
